Racing Victoria (RV) is one of Australia’s leading sporting organisations, and the independent governing body of thoroughbred racing in Victoria. We develop, promote, and manage the conduct of the racing of thoroughbred horses in Victoria to safeguard its integrity. 

RV is looking for a suitably qualified Marketing Automation Specialist to join our Customer team on a two-year fixed-term contract. This role will report to the Head of Customer Insights and Digital Innovation.

The Marketing Automation Specialist will leverage marketing automation and customer data platforms to execute personalised marketing communication and digital experiences, maximising customer engagement and driving business growth across Racing Victoria and Racing.com Media.

About you:

You are an experienced digital  marketing communications specialist who thrives in a collaborative, fast paced and hands on team environment. Some of the skills and experience you will have include:

• Extensive experience with digital marketing automation platforms, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Strong experience in building and deploying email and SMS marketing campaigns and customer journeys.
• Demonstrated success in using marketing automation tools to increase customer engagement and drive growth.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to inform decisions.
• Experience managing relationships with external suppliers/vendors.
• Familiarity with Australian Privacy Laws and email marketing regulations.
• Advanced proficiency in HTML/CSS and SQL.
