About the Role
As a Video Editor at Racing.com, you’ll play a key role in crafting engaging visual content that captures the excitement, passion, and drama of racing. From daily race replays and teasers to long-form documentaries and feature stories, you’ll ensure every edit meets the highest creative and broadcast standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit content for broadcast, social, and digital platforms.
- Crete race replays, promos, teasers, and visual assets for air and online.
- Edit short-form narrative content and long-form documentary-style features.
- Perform colour correction, grading, and audio mixing.
- Collaborate closely with producers and the post-production team to deliver top-quality work to deadline.
- Prepare and upload content to the Racing.com website and digital channels.
- Create vertical content tailored for social media platforms.
About You
You’re a detail-oriented storyteller who combines technical skill with creative flair. You’re comfortable juggling multiple projects and take pride in delivering work that engages audiences and meets professional broadcast standards.
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a video editing role, ideally within a media or broadcast environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, with experience in colour correction and audio mixing.
- Intermediate knowledge of Photoshop and After Effects.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn about the racing industry (knowledge of Thoroughbred Racing is an advantage).
